 This week's Music spotlight has to go to this beautiful songstress Melanie Fiona. All week I've been playing her album "The Bridge" in my Microsoft Zune(Holla at me Bill lol). Seriously it's refreshing to hear, real, new, auto-tune free music.. My favorite tracks on the album are : "Priceless", "Sad Songs", and the single "It Kills Me:". DC Sniper Executed!

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- John Allen Muhammad, the mastermind of the 2002 sniper attacks that terrorized the suburbs of the nation's capital, was scheduled to die by lethal injection Tuesday evening at a state prison near Jarratt, Virginia.
Muhammad, 48, has chosen his final meal, but has requested that it not be made public, said Larry Traylor, spokesman for the Virginia Department of Corrections.
Muhammad continued to profess his innocence during two lengthy trials -- including one featuring testimony from young accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo -- and in several years of legal appeals.
He repeated his assertion that he was an innocent victim of racial bias in a letter to the federal court released last week by his attorneys. Muhammad charged that police and prosecutors "lied to the American people" about his case and withheld evidence that could clear him.

Soul Train Awards 2009

 The Soul Train Awards were taped in Atlanta, Georgia last night @ the Georgia World Congress Center.
On Monday, I was privileged enough to attend the Soul Train Awards Celebrity suite (courtesy of Kim Tumey)..Many celebs were in attendance at both the celebrity suite and the soul train awards, but Keri Hilson is the only important person that is worth mentioning.. By far, she is the sexiest female right now. ;-)..MKB

Battle for Mayor of Atlanta

Last night in Atlanta, Georgia's historic mayoral election, Mary Norwood(center) and Kasim Reed remain alive while Lisa borders(left) conceded. A runoff between Norwood and Reed is set for December 1st. If Norwood wins, she will be the first white mayor in nearly 40 years for the city of Atlanta.

Jeezy Responds to Jody Breeze

Since Jody Breeze dropped the "uptown" diss track, Jeezy was silent until recently, explaining his side of the story.
"It could never be no situation, because little homie already know what it is with me," Young Jeezy stated today (October 29). "At the end of the day, I just take it for what it is. Ni***s f**ked up, ni***s talking reckless. If the ni**a wanna get signed and need some money, we’ll do that. But Jody knows what it is with me, I aint to be played with like that. I aint never disrespected the lil homie, I aint never brought his name out of my mouth of none of that bulls**t." 


"I’m a real n***a," Young Jeezy said of the confrontation in Atlanta. "I just tried to holla at the n***a. I sent the homies to tell the n***a to come over here and f**k with me drink a little bit, but I guess he took it the wrong way."
Young Jeezy is currently preparing to release his new album Thug Motivation 103, while Jody Breeze is prepping a new mixtape with DJ Scream.
